At Pauline Barratt Aquatics, we offer the Lifesaving Society’s Swim Patrol and Bronze Medal Awards to help swimmers continue to build strength, endurance, stroke efficiency and knowledge of water safety. These programs are great ways for swimmers to remain active and to continue to learn about water safety in a fun and supportive environment! We also offer Water Safety Instructor courses, the Lifesaving Society’s Lifesaving Instructor course and the National Lifeguard Service course. These courses teach swimmers to broaden and apply their skills and knowledge of swimming and water safety in the role of a qualified swimming instructor or lifeguard.

“The small student-teacher ratio, the discipline, encouragement, kindness and dedication make Pauline Barratt Aquatics stand out from other swimming programs offered in this town…Pauline had a group of older swimmers who were doing Life Saving Skills, enter the pool totally clothed including running shoes. At first they giggled and laughed, however this did not last long. She asked them to do 4 laps. All were struggling after 2 laps. The reality of this situation was driven home, words were not necessary. These are just a few of the reasons that I now have our grandchildren enrolled with Pauline Barratt. I would encourage anyone to learn Life Saving and swimming at Pauline Barratt Aquatics.”
